Introducing Bare Dermatology’s very own, Karaneh (Karen) Karimi! Born under the star-studded skies of Los Angeles, CA, and molded by the vibrant energy of Plano, TX, she’s a blend of the West Coast and Southern charm.

Dr. Karimi began her academic journey exploring the complexities of the human mind with a Psychology degree from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by a Biomedical Sciences degree from the University of North Texas. Her journey led her to medical school at Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX. Here, she not only earned her Medical Degree but also defied convention by simultaneously mastering the art of business through an MBA from Texas Tech’s Rawls College of Business, combining medical expertise with business acumen. Her clinical training carried her across terrains and time zones— from sun-soaked shores of Southern California for her preliminary intern year at the University of California at Irvine, to the bustling heart of Minneapolis for Dermatology residency at the University of Minnesota, where she refined her expertise and developed a strong foundation in patient-centered care.

As a dermatologist, Dr. Karimi embraces a spirit of servitude and compassion in every patient interaction. She is known for empowering patients through transformative treatment plans that promote both outer and inner well-being and confidence. With a passion for achieving tangible results, Dr. Karimi focuses on personalized care and stands out for her uniquely compassionate approach.
